I've come up with the idea of starting up a blog/magazine that uses fashion in a positive way. One that uses fashion to deal and illustrate issues that are relevant to us today. Instead of fashion being about who or what's hot or what you should buy, I want this to be about issues & problems in the media, and topics that are actually relevant and edgy. I'm looking for anyone interested in being involved in this project, whether that be models, makeup artists, hairdressers, etc.

Here's a little more info about the project. This is a brand new idea that I just came up with a few days ago, so I can't give you all the details yet, simply because I don't know all of them yet. However, my main goal is to be able to make a blog that will *hopefully* be turned into a magazine eventually. The fashion industry tends to be somewhat inaccessible/elitist in that it excludes and/or puts down many types of people/ideals. This is something I want to address. However, there are LOTS of issues (not just pertaining to the industry) that I think that fashion can address creatively. Just for example. striving for unattainable perfection, how the media influences us subconsciously (I had an idea of using a model dressed up as a marionette) Things like that. I'd really like any ideas that you might have. (Any issues that YOU might have with the fashion industry/issues you have with culture in general.) I hope this all makes sense. haha. I don't want this to be a bashing on the fashion industry/anything else though, just a way of seeing how we can improve things. I already have a few people that want to be involved in different ways (Models, fashion writers, fashion illustrators.) Thanks so much!
